About a year ago, I would have screamed "Yes!" It felt as though everything I had going on was coming to a head. I had too many balls in the air and not enough hands to catch them. I thought I needed to scale back, but I like to push myself to new limits. I started paying attention to my limitations and realized two things: I am not very organized and I struggle with keeping track of numerous and seemingly unrelated things that I have going on.
What I needed was a surefire way of synchronizing my notes, my thoughts, and my tasks. I tried multiple things, but only two really helped out:
I began to scour the internet and look through office supply stores. What was I looking for? I was looking for a planner or notebook of some sort; something that would give me some flexibility but also keep me on task. I was only able to find planners, calendars, notebooks of all types; however, they were clunky and complex. I wanted something that helped me simplify my to-do list, not add to it!
After a great deal of research, creating and testing - The Forest for the Trees Productivity Notebook was born. This notebook is not a planner, it is not a calendar, it is not a journal and it is definitely not just a notebook. This notebook is a fulcrum – giving you leverage over your busy schedule. Tell me this, do you find yourself using a pad folio or legal pad as you hop from meeting to meeting, only to collect half-written, complicated, cumbersome notes? If your answer is yes... you are not alone. I am in meetings all day, every day. I am not complaining I really enjoy meeting with folks and solving issues; however, prior to this product I often felt like I was constantly missing something... straightforward notes! Now you can take notes for any project (personal or professional) and move action items directly into your to-do list, all in one place.
